  • 3 oz butter
  • 4 1/2 oz diced pumpkin
  • 1/2 C onion diced
  • 2 chicken bullion
  • 1 C milk
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tbls flour

DescriptionDescription  Melt 2 oz butter and add the diced pumpkin and onion and saute 10 minutes. Add 3 cups water and chicken bullion simmer until pumpkin is tender. Mash or run through blender and add a little of the milk,. Melt 1 oz butter and blend in flour and cook medium heat for 2 minutes. Blend in pumpkin and rest of milk gradually, stirring well. Season with salt and pepper and continue stirring until boiling and simmer about 20 minutes. If it gets too thick thin with milk.
