  • 1/2 tsp fennel seed
  • 1/2 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 1/2 lb cauliflower
  • 1 1/2 lb zucchini
  • 1/2 lb carrots

DescriptionDescription  In large sauce pan turn vinegar, sugar, salt, mustard seed, fennel seed, minced garlic and bay leaf. Bring to boil and reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add cauliflowerets and simmer covered until barely tender 2-4 minutes. Remove cauliflowerets and add the zucchini and simmer about 1-2 minutes, remove and add to cauliflower. Add carrots and simmer until barely tender about 5 minutes. Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate. Serve cold
