DescriptionDescription  Heat oven to 425º. Heat bacon grease in 9-inch cast-iron skillet….make sure it’s very hot before adding the cornbread mixture.Combine dry ingredients. Add milk and egg; mix until blended. Add about 1/3 cup of the hot bacon drippings…leave the remainder of grease in the skillet; mix well by hand, don’t over mix. Pour into hot skillet; bake 20 to 25 minutes until nice and golden brown.
